Are you an experienced Dental Field Engineer who is looking for an opportunity to progress into management? We are recruiting a driven and motivated individual, who have natural leadership skills to manage a team of field-based engineers within a pre-defined area. As a Regional Lead Engineer you will act as first-line support for any queries and handle any escalated engineering concerns internally or with customers.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Offer technical and engineering support to regional field engineers, but where required, to other regional leads, engineers, and back office staff.
  • Understand the skill sets and engineering capabilities of the regional field engineers, identifying product and training gaps to help develop and improve the overall skills coverage in the region.
  • Manage engineer training plan with the training manager and work closely with the corporate customer regional managers to build relationships.
  • Managing and approving Engineer holiday requests & sickness absences via HRe. Working with both the engineers and helpdesk to resolve any holiday request conflicts.
  • Attend quarterly Lead Engineer Meetings, contributing to the agenda, preparing reports and projects as required and presenting findings to the Leads Group.
  • Manage recruitment, engineering onboarding/inductions and new recruit probations
