Are you a qualified Accountant with strong technical expertise and a keen interest in financial accounting? You’ll ensure accuracy, compliance, and insight in a vital accounting function. What you’ll do Coordinate and manage the year-end schedule for financial accounts, working with auditors and stakeholders. Prepare statutory accounts in accordance with IFRS, FreM, and regulatory standards. Support interim and year-end audits by producing working papers and addressing queries. Review and enhance outsourced financial reporting, maintaining accuracy and compliance. Analyse monthly financial data, generate management reports, and offer actionable insights. Oversee funding flows, daily cash forecasts, and reconcile financial information. Act as the main point of contact between finance and outsourced providers, ensuring control and compliance. Manage treasury activities, including bank accounts, authorisations, and cash monitoring. Develop strong working relationships across teams and providers to resolve issues and improve processes. What you’ll need Fully qualified Accountant with strong technical experience in financial accounting. Proven experience in financial accounting, reconciliations, and year-end processes; public sector accounting or financial instruments experience is a plus. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the confidence to challenge and influence when needed. Professional, confident, and collaborative, with the ability to build effective relationships both internally and externally.
