**Job description**

As an Account Handler you will be a fundamental part of the organisations success and growth, you will support a number of key functions within the organisation from Account Executives to Directors.

Duties will include;
- Assisting the account executives in providing bespoke insurances for designated clients. This includes pre-writing technical risk analysis, ensuring a working technical knowledge of policy coverage, clauses and exclusions.
- Providing technical and administrative support to relevant account executives in accordance with the company’s philosophies and standards.
- Communicating with Underwriters and clients daily, including negotiating premiums. Building and managing strong relationships, promoting a positive company image.
- Developing knowledge of both personal and commercial clients, with an understanding of each client’s insurance history and the polices they require to be maintained.
- Maintaining market knowledge for required cover placement including development of current client cross selling activities.
- Accurate electronic file management.
- Maintaining compliance with the company’s Procedures Manual and with the requirements of the existing regulators.
- Ensuring renewals deadlines are achieved through a proactive customer service approach.
- Working towards Cert CII would be advantageous, our client would support your studies.
- Acturis Experience Desirable but not essential.

**Salary**: From £24,000.00 per year
