This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead a key initiative on a 12-month contract with a competitive day rate of £500.About the Role:In this vital leadership position, you will direct the integration and implementation of high-voltage direct current (HVDC) systems within a large-scale renewable energy project. Your strategic oversight and technical expertise will ensure the project is executed flawlessly, meeting all technical, budgetary, and time constraints. You will manage a diverse team and collaborate with stakeholders to propel the project to its successful completion.Key Responsibilities:Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, including acquiring resources and coordinating efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants.Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel and monitor project performance.Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path, planning for contingencies and potential risks.Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.Requirements:Demonstrated leadership in managing HVDC projects, specifically within the renewable energy industry.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make well-judged decisions in complex situations.Excellent communication skills, proficient in engaging and influencing stakeholders and project teams.Experience with budget management and oversight of large-scale projects.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field.Application Process:Join us to lead this ambitious project and leverage your expertise in a role that offers both challenge and significant professional reward.
