Job description Job Opportunity: English/Maths Tutor – SEN School – Part-Time – LyndhurstA specialist SEN school in Lyndhurst is seeking a caring and adaptable English/Maths Tutor to provide targeted support to pupils with additional learning needs. This is a part-time role, starting as soon as possible, offering 2 hours of tuition per day, across 3 to 4 days per week. Role Overview You will deliver focused English and/or Maths sessions to pupils with a range of special educational needs, helping to build confidence, close learning gaps, and support progress in a nurturing and structured environment. Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 or small group tuition in English and/or Maths Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs Support pupils with EHCPs or specific learning barriers Track progress and communicate effectively with staff Requirements Experience working in SEN settings or with pupils with additional needs Strong subject knowledge in English and/or Maths Calm, patient, and flexible approach to teaching Relevant qualifications or tutoring experience (desirable) If you’re passionate about supporting learners in a specialist setting and can commit to regular sessions, we’d love to hear from you.
