Job description Learning Support Assistants (x2) – SEN School – LyndhurstLocation: Lyndhurst Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term Salary: £95 – £110 per day We are currently recruiting two dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join a welcoming and inclusive SEN school in Lyndhurst. These are full-time, long-term roles supporting children with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and complex learning difficulties. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with diverse SEN needs Assist in delivering tailored learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO Support students with emotional regulation, communication, and social interaction Help implement EHCP targets and behaviour support plans Contribute to a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment Assist with personal care and sensory needs where required Requirements: Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based or care settings) A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach Strong communication and teamwork skills Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children Relevant qualifications or training in SEN (desirable but not essential) Benefits: Supportive school environment with ongoing training and development Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in children’s lives Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business/education recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy.
