Pay rate: £13.50 per hour Shift Pattern: 0800-2000 / 2000-0800 We have an individual who is a horror movie fan, thrill‑seeking roller‑coaster rider, loves to shop, bake and sing. The person has autism and mental health challenges with occasional challenging behaviour. No one's day is the same, so we need someone who enjoys a variety of activities and can help this person live more independently in their own home. Applicants must live in the Totton area, know the local community, and hold a full UK driving licence. Key Responsibilities Provide high‑quality, compassionate 1:1 care, tailoring support to the individual's needs. Responsibilities include: Engage in meaningful activities and provide company on community outings. Assist with household tasks to maintain a clean, organised, comfortable living environment. Use clear, confident communication in the individual's preferred style to build trust. Support autonomy and independence while ensuring safety. Qualifications & Experience Experience supporting people with autism. Experience supporting people with mental health challenges. Experience managing behaviours that can be perceived as challenging.
