We're recruiting a Theatre Support Worker to assist surgical teams in maintaining clean, safe, and efficient operationg areas.What You'll Be DoingYou'll work as an essential member of the theatre team, supporting qualified practitioners and contributing to high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities include:Assisting set up of operating theatre prior to surgeryCirculating during surgery to collect any necessary equipment requiredTransporting patients from ward to operating theatreAdhering to sterile proceduresAssisting with patient positioning and equipment movementMaintaining cleanliness and infection control standardsParticipating in audits and completing cleaning schedulesThis role requires physical stamina, manual handling, and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances during patient recovery.What You'll NeedEssential: Minimum of 6 months UK based Operating Theatre experience Right to work in the UK (No visa sponsorship is available for this role) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Desirable: NVQ Level 2 in Care or BCNS Basic IT skills GCSE Maths & English Grade C/4 or above Why Join Medacs Healthcare?We're more than a locum recruitment agency - we work in partnership with you to ensure you find your perfect locum role.
