The school has a supportive team, clear routines and a nurturing approach that helps pupils feel safe and ready to learn.What you’ll be doing Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with SEMH needs Helping them manage emotions, stay focused and cope with challenging moments Using consistent, positive behaviour strategies set by the SEN and pastoral teams Offering calm reassurance during transitions and high-pressure points in the day Encouraging positive communication, resilience and confidence Working alongside teachers to maintain a structured, supportive environment What the school is looking for Someone calm, patient and confident working with pupils who need emotional support A great communicator who builds rapport quickly and naturally Experience in behaviour support, youth work, mentoring or care is helpful but not essential A team player who’s flexible, steady and committed to helping young people grow Someone who really sees the potential in every pupil, even when the day feels tough Your attitude and consistency matter far more than a long CV.Why join Protocol Education?
