The company is a medium-sized business with a focus on delivering quality products and maintaining strong supplier relationships.Job DescriptionDevelop and maintain demand forecasts to support inventory management and procurement decisions.Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products.Monitor market trends and analyse data to improve forecast accuracy.Prepare and present demand planning reports to support decision-making processes.Identify potential supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies.Work closely with the Procurement & Supply Chain team to optimise stock levels and reduce waste.Maintain accurate records of inventory and forecast adjustments.Continuously evaluate and improve demand planning processes and systems.The Successful ApplicantA successful Demand Planner should have:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on detail.Proficiency in demand planning tools and software.Effective communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.A solid understanding of Procurement & Supply Chain processes.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.A qualification or background in a relevant field is desirable.What's on OfferCompetitive salary.26 days of annual leave, with an optional holiday buy and sell scheme.Opportunities for paid professional training courses.This is a permanent position based in the North East.
