They’re looking for a Teaching Assistant who’s patient, positive and ready to help teenagers feel more confident in their learning.What you’ll be doing Supporting students in KS3 and KS4 during lessons, helping them stay focused and engaged Breaking down tasks, explaining concepts and celebrating progress Working 1:1 or in small groups, depending on the needs of each pupil Helping young people develop routines, confidence and independence Working closely with teachers, pastoral staff and specialists to keep strategies consistent Bringing calm, encouragement and steady guidance to each day What the school is looking for Someone who builds relationships quickly and communicates with warmth Confidence supporting young people with additional needs Experience in schools, youth work, care, mentoring or behaviour support is a bonus A flexible, patient approach and a good sense of humour when things go a bit sideways You don’t need SEN experience to apply, just the right mindset and willingness to learn Why join Protocol Education?
