Job Title: Practice Supervisor (Children)Location: BradfordWorking Hours: HybridRate: £37-£40 per hourLiquid Personnel are looking for a Practice Supervisor to join their East Children and Families Team in Bradford. Responsibilities: You will set standards, motivate, nurture, and mentor staff, fostering effective relationships and communication across the service and with partner agencies. Your role includes undertaking practice development projects, providing management cover in the absence of the team manager, and overseeing audit activities. You will support the quality assurance of reports and assessments, prepare less experienced social workers for court, and provide practice support to students and newly qualified social workers. You will establish strong working relationships with service users and colleagues, supervise individuals and groups, and ensure compliance with legislation and organizational policies. Additionally, you will co-work on complex cases, make recommendations for assessments and case reviews, and offer expert opinions within the organization. You will work closely with other Practice Supervisors and the Principal Social Worker to drive social work agendas, maintain accurate records, and facilitate training and development opportunities. Be eligible to work in the UK. Hold a full UK license. Social Work Qualification, degree or equivalent. At least 2 years’ experience as a social worker within children’s services.
