Job Description and Person Specification: Clinical supervisor

**Post: Clinical Supervisor**

**Hours**: 10 hours per week (4 will be Clinical Supervisor hours and 6 of these will be clinical counselling sessions) The hours are to be confirmed and will include at least one evening a week.

**Salary**: NJC 37, £21.19 per hour, pro rata.

Please note that the 10 hours are broken down into:
6 hours: Clinical hours

4 hours: to include time for; Clinical supervision, clinical supervision groups, staff meetings, one-to-ones, annual away day, CPD and any other relevant duties needed.

**Main Purpose of the Role**:
To deliver and evaluate high quality, effective and professional support and a kind approach to the work.

To participate in the development of services delivered at the centre as required.

As a knowledgeable and understanding clinical supervisor, you’ll focus on supporting relationship counsellors to deliver high quality services to couples and individuals.

To be a supervisor you’ll need to be qualified appropriately in both delivering relationship counselling and supervising others to do so.

Also, appropriate qualifications in delivering and supervising the following areas would be a bonus:

- Families
- Children (5 - 10 years)
- Young people (11 - 18 years)
- Psychosexual therapy (PST)
- IAPT

**Role responsibilities**
- Supervision of Relate Bradford & Leeds registered practitioners within your defined area of responsibility.
- Contributing to practitioners’ annual review in collaboration with your line manager.
- Identify/deliver/advise on CPD and other training requirements.
- Navigate and use Relate’s electronic data management systems such as

Penelope.
- Conduct mandated Case Supervision Groups.
- Attend regular consultation with Senior Practice Consultant and other colleagues in the federation.
- Attending Relate Supervisor meetings, development initiatives, training,
