What You Will Be Doing Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis throughout the school day Promoting communication, independence and life skills through structured activities Assisting with personal care, feeding or mobility needs where required (full training provided) Encouraging emotional regulation using gentle, supportive strategies Working closely with teachers and therapy teams to follow individual support plans Keeping pupils safe, calm and engaged in learning and social activities Your presence and encouragement can change a young person’s day—and sometimes their future. We Would Love to Hear From You If You Have: Experience in care, support work, or working with vulnerable individuals (paid or voluntary) A sincere desire to support children and young people with additional needs Patience, resilience and a calm approach when faced with challenges Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team A willingness to learn and develop professionally School-based experience is not required—your empathy, motivation, and willingness to support young people are what matter most. Training is provided as part of your onboarding.
