We are recruiting Learning Support Assistants for a specialist school in Maidenhead, supporting pupils with autism, sensory needs, learning disabilities, and many who are non-verbal or have limited verbal communication. Learning Support Assistant – Drama Graduate Maidenhead – Graduate – Learning Support Assistant – Drama Graduate Maidenhead What you’ll be doing Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups Encouraging communication using drama-inspired techniques—movement, gesture, role-play, mirroring Promoting independence and emotional regulation through creative activities Assisting with personal care or feeding where required (full training provided) Collaborating with teachers and therapists to follow personalised support plans Creating a safe, calm, engaging learning environment For some pupils, your presence might be the moment they feel understood.
