We are seeking a Senior Supported Employment Practitioner to lead and inspire a team delivering high-quality supported employment services across Devon. This is a pivotal role in helping disabled people, those with health conditions and individuals facing complex barriers to employment. You will manage a small team of Supported Employment Practitioners, provide professional supervision, and ensure fidelity to the Supported Employment Quality Framework (SEQF). Working closely with employers, communities, and partner agencies, you will champion inclusive practices and create innovative solutions to remove barriers to work.As a senior Supported Employment Practitioner, you will:Lead and mentor a team of Supported Employment Practitioners.Manage a personal caseload of up to 10 clients, supporting their journey into paid employment.Build strong relationships with employers to negotiate adjustments and promote inclusive recruitment.Develop vocational profiles and action plans tailored to individual aspirations.Spend at least 65% of your time in the community, engaging with employers and clients.Drive continuous improvement and quality assurance across the service.Collaborate with Employment and Youth Hubs and external partners to maximise opportunities.About YouWe’re looking for someone who is:Experienced in employment support, mentoring, and managing caseloads.Knowledgeable about supported employment principles and the challenges faced by people with disabilities.Organised and proactive, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.What we can offer youWorking for Devon County Council (DCC) has all the benefits that you can expect from a large employer.
