Job Title: Family Paralegal (Temporary / Locum)Location: WorcestershireWorking Pattern: Full-time, office-basedHours: 9:00am – 5:00pmDuration: Initially 1 month+, with potential for extensionStart Date: Within 1–2 weeksRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Family Paralegal to provide temporary support within a busy Family Department. The role will primarily focus on Care Proceedings work, with some exposure to private family matters, such as Child Arrangements cases.The successful candidate will handle a variety of administrative and legal support tasks, working with minimal supervision once familiar with the firm’s processes.Key Responsibilities:• Review and summarise case documents, including hospital and expert reports, preparing clear and detailed notes.• Complete C2 applications and other court documentation accurately.• Open new client files and upload relevant documentation to the case management system.• Prepare, paginate, and file court bundles.• Book and liaise with Counsel where required.• Assist with both Care and Private Family cases, including Child Arrangements matters.• Maintain accurate time recording and case notes.• Provide general administrative support to fee earners as needed.Essential:• Previous experience within a Family Law department, ideally covering both Care Proceedings and Private Family work.• Ability to work independently once trained on internal procedures.• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.• Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information.• Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems.• Clear communication skills and a professional approach.Desirable:• Experience preparing bundles and completing C2 or other court applications.• Familiarity with public law processes and liaison with Counsel or Local Authorities.How to Apply:Contact Alicia Forde at eNL on 0121 454 1004 or email with your CV or simply call for a confidential discussion.eNL will never share your CV with a third party without your express permission.
