We are seeking to recruit an experienced Employment Solicitor (7+PQE) for the employment practice of a leading law firm in Liverpool. This role is to focus on advocacy in Employment Tribunal claims.Join a respected, UK-wide Employment, Pensions, and Immigration team that advises major UK employers on a wide range of employment law issues. The team serves many of the country’s most prominent organisations, working within a culture that emphasises collaboration, inclusivity, and high standards in client service. This role provides a unique opportunity to be part of a highly-regarded team, with a commitment to excellence.As an Employment Solicitor in this role, you will manage a high-volume caseload of Employment Tribunal claims for a leading client, handling cases involving unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing, and other complex employment matters. Key responsibilities include advocating in tribunal hearings, offering expert legal advice, and supporting the team with supervision as needed. Additionally, you may contribute to business development activities, including networking and client relationship-building.Key Qualifications:Experience: 7+ years PQE in employment law, with extensive experience in Employment Tribunal advocacy.Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills; excellent attention to detail; ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritise effectively.Attributes: Proactive, adaptable, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.Commitment: Dedicated to high client service standards and aligned with the firm’s inclusive and people-focused values.This is a top 50 UK law firm known for its outstanding employee support and professional growth opportunities.
