The Role As an IT Technology Recruitment Consultant, you'll work closely with both clients and candidates to facilitate perfect matches in the technology sector. You'll manage the entire recruitment lifecycle while building lasting relationships with tech professionals and hiring managers. Sector Focus We are particularly interested in recruitment professionals with experience in: Data & Analytics ERP Systems and Implementation Network Infrastructure Risk, Regulation & Compliance Cloud & Digital Transformation Key Responsibilities You will be responsible for: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients in your specialist technology sector Sourcing and screening top tech talent through various channels including LinkedIn, industry networks, and referrals Conducting in-depth interviews to assess technical capabilities and cultural fit Managing contract negotiations and offer processes Building and maintaining a strong network within Birmingham's tech community Providing market insights and salary benchmarking to clients Becoming a trusted advisor in your chosen technical vertical Required Skills & Experience Proven recruitment experience within one or more of our specialist IT sectors Deep understanding of technology roles, skills, and market trends in your area of expertise Excellent relationship building and networking abilities Outstanding communication and negotiation skills Result-oriented mindset with strong commercial awareness Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Desirable Skills Technical background or understanding of software development, cloud technologies, or IT infrastructure Experience using recruitment CRM systems and LinkedIn Recruiter Previous agency recruitment experience Knowledge of Birmingham's tech ecosystem Established network in one or more of our specialist sectors Benefits Competitive base salary + uncapped commission structure Comprehensive training and development program Private healthcare Pension scheme Regular team social events City centre office location Flexible working options Annual company retreats Career progression opportunities Career Development We invest heavily in our consultants' growth, providing structured training programs, mentorship, and clear paths to senior positions and team leadership roles.
