Assist with personal care, mobility, feeding and sensory needs (training provided). Help deliver structured learning activities and therapy-based sessions. Encourage independence through daily living skills and routine activities. Use positive behaviour strategies to support emotional and sensory regulation. Work collaboratively with teachers and therapists to implement individual support plans. Contribute to creating a calm, safe, and supportive classroom environment. We’d love to hear from you if you have: Experience in care, early years, or supporting children/young people (paid or voluntary) A desire to pursue a career in Occupational Therapy or a related field Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping children thrive Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team A willingness to assist with personal care when required Experience with autism, learning disabilities or sensory needs is beneficial – but not essential. Full training is provided.
