Technical Sales Engineer – Derby – £60,000 - £70,000 Chase & Holland are proud to be working with an established and innovative business who are looking to recruit a Technical Sales Engineer to join their team. The purpose of this role is to secure profitable engineering contracts. The business is currently working on some really exciting projects with some big clients so it’s a great time to join In Return You’ll Receive:25 days annual leave + bank holidays1 day working from home (Friday)Car allowanceEnhanced pension schemeAnnual salary reviewsFree onsite parking Technical Sales Engineer Responsibilities:Managing customers’ expectations and securing profitable contractsEnsuring that project concepts and plans are produced, communicated, and understood by the other areas of the businessTaking responsibility for assigned accounts and customersUnderstanding and managing risk (technical, commercial, financial and programme) for project proposals to protect the company relating to the contractual requirements and our commitmentsMeeting sales targets for profitabilityInspiring others to achieve the high standards of business excellenceWorking closely with the Directors and Management team to set and maintain the direction and strategy for the department to meet business targets and KPIsProducing business plans and acquire market knowledgeEnsuring that deadlines set by customers and the organisation are achievedManaging sales pipelineProducing development plansUndertaking customer visits and visit reportingPromoting long framework agreements and contractsProviding effective reporting  Required Skills & Experience:  Engineering, Business or Manufacturing Qualification at HND level or equivalentExtensive commercial and technical experience from similar industries and rolesExperience of enquiry and bid managementExperience of producing sales proposals within similar industriesCapable of showing a natural ability of sustaining customer relationships that have led to successful and profitable salesAbility to independently plan, organise and work to tight deadlines If you are interested in finding out about this exciting Technical Sales Engineer opportunity, please click ‘apply now’.
