Our client, a dynamic manufacturing organisation, is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Internal Sales Officer to join their team in Welham Green, Welwyn Hatfield. In this key role, you will be responsible for day-to-day sales administration and building strong relationships with a national and international customer base. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous B2B manufacturing experience in key account management, customer service, and sales support. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, self-sufficient, and possess excellent communication skills. Responsibilities: Be the primary point of contact for our client's valued customers, ensuring exceptional service at all times. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers to ensure a continuous flow of sales revenue. Collaborate with other Internal Sales Officers to effectively manage customer expectations. Create and follow up on quotes. Liaise with external sales teams, planning, and purchasing departments. Assist with order processing when required. Maintain accurate records and filing of relevant paperwork. Core competencies: Proactive account management to drive sales growth. Demonstrated experience in B2B manufacturing. Excellent customer service skills to build and maintain customer relationships. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English. Organisational, problem-solving, and prioritising abilities. Highly motivated with a commitment to excellence. Attention to detail with a 'first time right' approach. Proficiency in computer literacy with previous ERP systems experience (SYSPRO, CRM, and QuoteWerks are advantageous).
