Science Teacher – Chester Location: Chester Start Date: September 2025 Pay: £150 – £200 per day (PAYE – depending on experience) Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term Are you a dedicated Science Teacher looking to make a real difference in a vibrant Chester secondary school this September? We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-respected school that places a strong focus on academic excellence and student engagement across all key stages. This role offers the chance to teach across KS3 and KS4 within a dynamic and well-supported Science department. Whether you're an established educator or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) just starting out, this school provides an environment that promotes professional development and values creativity in the classroom. Key Responsibilities: * Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across the science curriculum (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics). * Support students in achieving their academic potential through targeted teaching strategies. * Contribute to a collaborative team environment and departmental planning. * Use assessment data effectively to inform planning and track student progress. Requirements: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK. * Subject specialism in Science (any discipline welcomed). * Strong classroom management skills and a proactive attitude. * Willingness to engage in wider school life and activities.
