LOCATION: (Field Work / Remote)
ROLE PURPOSE
Our client is looking for an experienced Childcare Early Years Assessor/Tutor, with Teaching Assistant experience who can share their knowledge with their Childcare & Education Team and further their career.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Responsibility for an agreed caseload of learners across the work area.
* Planning your own diary
* Visiting learners within their place of work
* Providing one-to-one and group support
* Teaching classes of around 12 students
* Identifying learner’s strengths and weaknesses through the initial assessment and supporting them accordingly to progress to next levels.
* Providing interactive and engaging face-to-face and online tuition sessions using a range of teaching methods and resources
* Maintaining up-to-date CPD
* Attending Delivery meetings
* Working with the IQA to develop and implement actions
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
* Adult teaching qualification (Certificate in Level 3 Education in Training or equivalent).
* Assessor qualification (CAVA or equivalent).
* Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare or alternatively up to and including Level 5. Teaching Assistant experience

* Commitment to PTS to provide good high-quality training to the National Standards.
* Flexibility to travel as and when necessary to the learners place of work.
