Project Manager – Building Envelope Specialist (Cladding)

We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager for a leading building envelope specialist, to oversee high-profile cladding projects across Central London. Our client is an industry leader in delivering innovative and high-quality façade and cladding solutions. With a growing portfolio of prestigious projects, they are looking to expand their team and bring in a skilled Project Manager to ensure the continued success of their projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Project Management: Lead the planning and execution of cladding projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

* Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with site activities and implement strategies to manage and mitigate these risks effectively.

* Scheduling & Monitoring: Develop and maintain project timelines using Microsoft Project, ensuring milestones are met and adjusting plans when necessary to address any issues.

* Stakeholder Communication: Act as the key point of contact for clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and regular updates throughout the project lifecycle.

* Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance on cladding systems, materials, and installation, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and client specifications.

* Site Management: Supervise day-to-day activities on site, ensuring that health and safety standards are adhered to, and that subcontractors and site teams are performing efficiently.

* Financial & Commercial Awareness: Manage project budgets and resources, ensuring financial targets are met while maintaining profitability and commercial compliance.

* Reporting & IT Skills: Use IT systems to report on project progress, manage budgets, and track timelines, providing accurate updates to senior management and clients.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

* Cladding & Building Envelope Expertise: Proven experience in managing building envelope and cladding projects, with a deep understanding of cladding systems, materials, and installation techniques.

* Project Management Experience: Demonstrated success in managing construction projects, preferably in the building envelope sector, with strong planning, scheduling, and risk management skills.

* Technical Proficiency: A solid understanding of technical specifications for cladding systems and the ability to solve complex technical challenges on-site.

* Microsoft Project Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project (or similar software) to develop schedules, monitor progress, and adjust timelines as needed.

* Financial & Commercial Acumen: Experience managing project budgets, controlling costs, and ensuring financial success. A strong understanding of contracts and procurement processes is also essential.

* Excellent Communication & Leadership Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders, providing leadership on-site and maintaining strong client relationships.

* Problem-Solving & Risk Management: Proactive in identifying risks and finding solutions to potential challenges on-site.
