An opportunity has arisen for a Purchase Ledger Officer to join a well known education provider based in the city centre of Cambridge on a part time basis. This role is perfect for someone who is looking to work 28 hours per week, ideally across 5 days and within the role you will report into the Business Accountant. This role will offer hybrid working arrangements and has become available due to an internal departure. 

Within this role as Purchase Ledger Officer, you will be tasked with the following duties, including but not limited to:
- Processing of purchase invoices
- Maintaining supplier accounts 
- Processing supplier payments
- Petty cash reconciliations
- Processing bank transactions
- Processing employee expenses
- Additional ad hoc duties

The successful candidate for this role will be someone with strong Purchase Ledger knowledge and experience of working within a similar level role within a finance team. You will also have strong knowledge of accountancy systems, and be competent in your IT proficiency. You will also be an excellent communicator, both on a written and verbal, and work to a high degree of accuracy with a strong attention to detail.
