Horizon Teachers are currently working with a 2-form entry primary school based in Camden that seeking a talented and dedicated Intervention Teacher to join their school in January. This role is based in the Alternative provision at the school and would be suitable for an experienced teacher that has a proven record working with SEN. The position is for the academic year, with the potential to become permanent for the right person.

The school is rated "Good" by Ofsted, reflecting their commitment to providing a high-quality education for their students. They pride themselves on creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.

Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Create a positive and nurturing classroom environment that promotes active learning.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and well-rounded educational experience.
Engage with parents and guardians, fostering strong home-school partnerships.
Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience working with children in an SEN setting
A passion for education and a commitment to helping children reach their full potential.
Knowledge of the national curriculum and current teaching methods.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
