Position: Senior Ocean Freight Operator

Location - Fully remote

Salary £30,000 + depending on experience

We are a leading end-to-end logistics solution provider and Freight Forwarding is a key part of this business. We are now seeking an experienced ocean freight operator to join a growing department, currently made up of a team of 7 working remotely.

We are passionate about Freight Forwarding and Global logistics. We are interested in speaking with individuals who possess a strong background in dealing with deep sea export operations primarily dealing with FCL & LCL shipments. Experience managing key accounts is also an advantage.

Key Role & Responsibilities:

Responsible for all forwarding tasks for exports (FCL & LCL), starting from the initial enquiry, and preparation of documentation right through to raising invoices
Dealing with report entries using various CPC's including, Home Use & CFSP in line with HMRC and Bonded warehouse approval.
Liaise with, clients, shipping lines, 3rd parties and other forwarders alongside managing key relationships within the organisation
Arranging import shipments from start to finish
Customs Entries via CDS
Invoicing upon final delivery
Shipment status reports
Investigating system discrepancies
Liaising with clients, shipping lines and agents
Key account management
