Location:Kennington, Oxfordshire
Salary:£14.66 per hour (£28,587 per annum) plus benefits: paid induction; overtime paid over 37.5 contracted hours
Hours:8.00am to 8.00 pm (Monday to Sunday on a shift rota basis. Please note, the shifts may vary due to the needs of the people we support)
Contract:Full-time, Permanent
Driving Requirement:A valid full UK manual driving license is essential.

You will have a QCF in Health & Social Care level 2 Diploma (or equivalent) with willingness to undertake a level 3 in Health & Social Care and demonstrate reasonable knowledge of regulatory standards for supported/residential living.About You

We're looking for an individual to join our colleague team strong team player with the ability to lead by example, being professional, patient and calm under pressure with experience of providing extraordinary support. If you have a full manual UK driving license and are comfortable driving alternative vehicles, you're exactly who we're looking for.
What will you be doing?
As a Senior Support Worker, you'll be more than just their support – you'll be a key part of someone's journey towards living their best life. Here's what you'll be doing:
Daily Care & Support: Helping with personal care, meal preparation, medication, and other daily tasks.
Building Relationships: a strong team player with the ability to lead by example. You will supervise daily outputs and assist the deputy manager in managing staff performance, development, and appraisals.
Empowering Independence: Assisting with personal goals, from daily activities to long-term aspirations, and encouraging creative exploration with the help of Positive Behaviour Specialist
Social Engagement: Supporting activities like holiday’s, social events, and hobbies, ensuring he can enjoy what he loves.
Respect & Dignity: Ensuring that the individual and the family are treated with the utmost respect, dignity, and equality.Who you will be Supporting?
James* is a young man with autism and moderate learning difficulties. He likes to go out in his vehicle on pre-planned routes. He loves music, BBC 1, BBC 2 radio and colouring activities. His favourite food is pasta. James likes routine and predictability. His team need to be dedicated, resilient and think outside of the box to enable him to reach his full potential.
