REESON Education is recruiting for a Support Worker to join a special school in Hackney, with a start date in January 2025. As a Support Worker, you will assist pupils with their day-to-day needs both in the classroom and the community. Permanent roles are available for the right candidates.

While experience as a Support Worker is preferred, it is not essential. You must be able to commute to Hackney easily and be available to work Monday to Friday during term time.
We are looking for Support Workers to work with the school, supporting pupils who have learning disabilities, autism, complex needs, and behaviors that challenge. The school has various services in the area, including supported living homes and other campuses. As a Support Worker, you will be based in Hackney, with the opportunity to transfer to other locations if desired in the future.
No two days are the same, but your day might include:
Supporting our pupils in engaging in all day-to-day living activities, including making full use of their community and beyond.
Assisting our pupils with social activities and connecting with family and friends.
Working as part of a class team, as this support worker role involves being in the classroom.
Experience in schools or care is not essential. The school provides a full range of accredited and award-winning training programs at no cost to you. All we ask is that you have a good attitude and a desire to be the best Support Worker you can be
