Key Responsibilities
As a Purchasing Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our supply chain runs smoothly. Your duties will include:
• Updating the internal systems with prices changes to make sure 100% accuracy is achieved
• Assisting the Purchasing Manager in the sourcing and procurement of materials, components, and services.
• Managing purchase orders (POs), tracking deliveries, and ensuring timely receipt of goods.
• Maintaining accurate records of suppliers, contracts, and pricing agreements.
• Collaborating with suppliers to resolve delivery issues, discrepancies, or quality concerns.
• Conducting market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and new suppliers.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and procurement best practices.
• Supporting the finance team with invoice reconciliation and reporting.
What do you need?
To succeed in this role, you should have:
• Experience: In a data driven administration position, ideally in a manufacturing environment. If you have specific procurement, purchasing, or supply chain that would be the icing on the cake.
• Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in AX or SAP systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Attributes: A proactive attitude, keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
