About the role:

As an HLTA, you will be instrumental in supporting the learning and development of pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in the classroom, working closely with class teachers to ensure that all students achieve their full potential. You will provide tailored support for students, assist with planning and delivering lessons, and contribute to the overall school community.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about education, has a strong understanding of the national curriculum, and can adapt to the varying needs of children.

Application Requirements:

• A recognised HLTA qualification (or equivalent experience).
• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA in a primary school.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• A positive, proactive, and compassionate approach to working with children.
• The ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
• Assist in the assessment of student progress, providing feedback and support where necessary.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, particularly those with additional learning needs.
• Help manage classroom behaviour, ensuring a positive learning environment.
• Contribute to the pastoral care and well-being of students, promoting their social and emotional development.
