About the Role

A dynamic primary school in Islington, London, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to contribute to a vibrant learning environment and help shape the education of Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 pupils.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead classes in the teacher's absence, delivering engaging and well-prepared lessons.
  • Support the class teacher with the preparation and implementation of lesson plans.
  • Work with small groups or individual pupils, offering tailored support to those with additional needs.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher to ensure effective learning outcomes.

Requirements
  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in a primary setting.
