The Role – Higher Level Teaching Assistant

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will be providing support students, who have been excluded from mainstream schools, either due to challenging behaviour or a lack of resources. A Higher Level Teaching Assistant will help manage and guide the students academically through their school day. The role requires strong tutoring skills, alongside strong behaviour management skills, to help the students.

The School – Higher Level Teaching Assistant

This PRU School is located in Islington. The school seeks to support the students, with the aim of reintegrating students back into mainstream schools. This PRU caters to a total of 60 pupils aged 5 - 16, in which they create an inclusive environment. The school maintains a Good Ofsted rating as of 2021 and offers various transport links via the Northern Line and local buses.
