Career Teachers are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join a Specialist School in Romford dedicated to supporting students aged 11-19 years with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication needs.
Individualised Therapy Plans: Develop and implement tailored therapy plans to address the specific needs of each student.
Direct Therapy: Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions to support students' communication skills.
Collaborate with Staff: Work closely with teachers, support staff, and other professionals to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom environment.
Monitor Progress: Regularly assess and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
Family Support: Provide guidance and support to families to help them understand and support their child's communication needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

Experience: Proven experience as a Speech and Language Therapist, preferably within an educational setting.
Education: Degree in Speech and Language Therapy or similar/equivalent qualification required.
Skills: Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Special Needs Expertise: Experience working with students with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, and other communicational challenges.Why join us at Career Teachers:
