Teaching Assistant

Job Role: Teaching Assistant
Location: Durham
Pay: £12.82 - £14.88 per hour
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:30CER is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in an SEN school in Durham.

Whilst a teaching assistant qualification isn't essential, experience working with children or adults with special educational needs is required as you must have the ability to build a rapport with these students quickly.

The role is initially temporary but has the potential to go permanent for the correct applicant.

The school, based in Durham, is an alternative provision for students with special educational needs, including Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD).
