Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mazak Integrex CAD/CAM Programmer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up and operating our brand new state-of-the-art Mazak Integrex machine using Mazatrol Smooth and Nexus controls. Experience with CAD/CAM software such as Solidworks and Edgecam will be a huge benefit.
Responsibilities
* Program, set up, and operate a Mazak Integrex machine to produce high-quality components
* Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine the most efficient production methods
* Use CAD/CAM software to generate machine programs for the Mazak Integrex
* Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of the machine to ensure optimal performance
* Collaborate with the engineering and design teams to optimize production processes
Qualifications
* Proven experience programming, setting up and operating Mazak Integrex machines
* Proficiency in using Mazatrol Smooth and Nexus controls
* Experience with CAD/CAM software, particularly Solidworks and Edgecam
* Strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
Day-to-day
As a Mazak Integrex CAD/CAM Programmer, your day-to-day activities will involve programming, setting up, and operating the Mazak Integrex machine. You will work closely with the engineering and design teams to ensure that production processes are optimized and efficient. Additionally, you will be responsible for performing regular maintenance and troubleshooting of the machine to ensure it operates at its best.
Rate and Benefits
* Hourly rate depends on experience but in the region of 22-27ph
* Overtime at x1.5
* 42.5 hours a week, perm day shift
* Sick Pay
* 22 days holiday
