LOCATION:          Darwen

SALARY:               Circa £40’000 to £45’000 plus + annual bonus circa £8000
                            Monday to Thursday 8.30 to 5pm / Friday 8.30 to 2pm

Expanding globally across the UK, Europe, and US, this engineering manufacturer has earned a strong reputation for quality and reliability, serving the Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Nutraceutical, Chemical, and High-Value Industrial sectors.
 
Technical Account Manager – Engineering - Key skills: 

Build proactive conversations with customers to explore additional sales opportunities, support services, service packages and add Ons.
Liase with peers to proactively discuss customer sales and orders.
Actively contact customers to sell after sale services and follow up on quotations.
Thorough admin, reporting, written and verbal correspondence skills. Coupled with a strong attention to detail.
Mechanical engineering knowledge is essential. Could be an ideal role for a Mechanical Engineer that is seeking a change of direction.
Strong communication skills internally, externally and cross functionally.
Strong planning skills to organise engineer site visits, travel, diaries. Technical Account Manager – Engineering - Attributes: 

You will be a highly motivated self-starter, with knowledge and experience of mechanical engineering or manufacturing engineering.
Passionate about growing sales and growing relationships with customers.
Live within a commutable distance from Darwen. This is an on-site role.
Excellent communicator to develop and build customer relationship ensuring repeat custom.
Working with and supporting cross departmental – design, engineers, purchasing, production. The company culture is one that is positive, warm, welcoming and driven.
