GSL Education Kent are delighted to announce an incredible opportunity for a friendly and compassionate individual to join a forward-thinking school in Dover as a SEN Teaching Assistant. In this role, you will become an integral part of a dynamic team, dedicated to nurturing the growth and development of young students with additional needs. While prior experience supporting SEN children is desirable, it is not essential as we welcome candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities of the SEN Teaching Assistant includes:

Catering to the needs of pupils with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties
Encouraging a love of learning and motivating students to reach their full potential
Assisting teachers in managing classroom behaviour
Challenging and supporting students' progress
 
To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant, you must:

Have the right to work in the UK
Drives and have access to a car
Meet GSL's safer recruitment background checks
Possess a Child Enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to apply for one
Demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding
Be adaptable, enthusiastic, and enjoy working with young people from diverse backgrounds
