Payroll Administrator

Are you experienced in processing payrolls accurately and to deadlines?
We are looking for a Payroll Officer to provide support to the Payroll team, for the processing of weekly and monthly payrolls to ensure they are processed accurately and on time.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager key areas of responsibility include (please see the full job description and person specification for the comprehensive list): Attaching new employees to the monthly payrolls and attaching payments/deductions.
Collation of timesheets for the monthly payrolls Setting up new pro-rata musicians, actors and children and attaching to payroll Setting up and changing elements such as rent, services, subsistence and touring allowance.
Data input of basic hours, overtime, holiday, and absences.
Ensuring leavers are paid/deducted holiday pay.
Calculation of Statutory payments such as maternity, paternity and adoption pay Payroll processing experience An understanding of calculating tax and national insurance Excellent attention to detail, quality, and accuracy.
Numerate – for example comfortable analysing numerical data and with good level of Excel skills (e.g., confident with formula, sorting data, summarising data)? Proactive in their approach, flexible and adaptable to new ways of working?? This is a full-time, fixed term contract for 12 months, based in Stratford-upon-Avon.
The Finance department works to a hybrid model.
Typically, team members work an average of 2 – 3 days remotely each week, but this varies according to specific work activity and is subject to line manager approval.
The normal hours of work are 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with the understanding that additional hours may be required to fulfil the responsibilities of the role.
