Our client is looking for a Permanent Payroll Administrator to work at their office in Newcastle.

This is an exciting opportunity to work for a friendly and progressive, flexible Facilities Management organisation who are growing and have lots of secure career and development opportunities.

**Duties**:

- Possess a strong understanding of payroll and pension processes, including familiarity with relevant legislation and compliance requirements.
- Execute payroll and pension procedures meticulously, covering tasks such as timesheet input, processing payroll cycles, managing pension amendments, and handling auto-enrolment.
- Address inquiries related to pay and pension promptly and accurately, while also managing absence administration and overseeing statutory and voluntary deductions from pay.
- Manage various aspects of payroll administration, including loading interface files, collaborating with HR as necessary, and handling tax code changes and RTI submissions.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks such as annual pension returns, pension reconciliation, and uploading relevant information to providers' portals.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and operating procedures for all payroll and pension-related processes, facilitating smooth operations and compliance.

**Skills Required**:

- Experience in operating within a Payroll/Pensions team in a transaction processing environment
- SAP ERP essential
- Microsoft Office essential
- CIPP qualification desirable
- Technical knowledge in payroll and pension reconciliation
