Role Overview The Business Development Partner is responsible for improving occupancy levels at ivolve services across the UK. The role focuses on building positive relationships with referrers across the UK with a view to driving referrals into the homes and increasing the number of contacts known to the organisation. The role will work closely with a number of other areas in the commercial team so a collaborative approach is essential.
Responsibilities include: Implementing a proactive approach to referral generation through face-to-face meetings, targeted e-campaigns, personal emails and phone callsDeveloping SOSTAC action plans to deliver occupancy targetsIdentifying, unlocking and cultivating working relationships with new and existing contactsIncreasing the number of LA, ICB and LHB contacts known to ivolveWorking with referrers, commissioners, RPs and ivolve colleagues to remove blockers to move-insSupporting embargo action plans in preparation for reopeningEnsuring regular communication by email and phone with existing and potential referrersHolding open days and other promotional eventsManaging leavers to ensure minimal void periodFacilitating cross-border referrals to support occupancy levels in other regionsWorking closely with Referral Managers to support referral conversionIdentifying appropriate referrals for new services in line with complexity defined in the business caseWorking with Referral Managers and the Bids team to complete EOIsReporting competitor and market intelligence to the Head of Partnership Development and Head of Commercial ChangeSupporting the annual fee uplift process through the strategic use of key relationshipsWorking with marketing to develop site-specific marketing material to share with referrersProviding a monthly report highlighting key activity including meetings and meeting outcomesLogging all activity on the company CRM systemMaintaining an up-to-date knowledge of health and social care markets, highlighting any policy or strategy changes to the Head of Partnership Development.Other Attending relevant conferences and events on behalf of the companyEnsuring ivolve representation at all appropriate provider forumsAttendance at commercial team meetingsVisiting ivolve homes on a regular basisThis is not an exhaustive list of duties as the role may change from time to time to meet the needs and objectives of the business.
