What does the role involve: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented SQL Data Specialist to join our dynamic team.
You'll be an expert in SQL and database management, with a strong focus on data accuracy, reporting, and collaboration with development teams to support the organisation's operational and strategic needs.
Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the business has access to reliable, actionable data through optimised and accurate reporting solutions.
Collaborating with software developers to ensure seamless integration between applications and databases, you'll also provide SQL expertise to development projects, troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues.
What are we looking for: · Experience in working within development environments.
· Familiarity with business intelligence tools and ETL processes.
· Knowledge of industry-standard data governance and security practices.
· Ideally, a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
· Minimum 3 years' experience in SQL development and data reporting roles.
· Advanced proficiency in SQL, with experience in developing and optimising complex queries.
· Familiarity with database systems such as Azure, SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
· Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI is a plus.
· Strong attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex data and deliver insights in simplified format.
