As the Programme Director, you will lead and drive the successful implementation, management, and optimisation of SAP and ERP initiatives across the organisation.
This senior leadership role requires a deep understanding of SAP and ERP solutions, a strong track record in technology delivery management, and the ability to work cross-functionally to achieve transformational business outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in program and project management within SAP and ERP environments, excellent leadership capabilities, and a passion for fostering innovation in technology delivery.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Develop and execute the technology delivery strategy, focusing on SAP/ERP projects to support the company's business objectives.
Partner with senior stakeholders to understand and define technology priorities, ensuring alignment with business strategy and goals.
Act as a trusted advisor on all matters related to SAP/ERP delivery and related technology innovation.
Program Management Oversee end-to-end program management of all SAP/ERP projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Establish and manage project timelines, budgets, resource plans, risk management frameworks, and performance metrics.
Drive alignment between IT, business functions, and third-party vendors to ensure effective delivery and ongoing support of SAP/ERP solutions.
Technical Oversight Provide technical leadership and guidance across SAP/ERP initiatives, ensuring best practices in solution architecture, configuration, and integration.
Establish and enforce delivery standards, processes, and tools for efficient project management and high-quality outcomes.
Ensure that quality control processes are in place to validate that solutions meet business requirements and regulatory standards.
Change Management & Business Engagement Champion and facilitate change management processes, ensuring smooth adoption of SAP/ERP solutions across the organization.
Build strong partnerships with business units, proactively managing expectations, resolving issues, and driving continuous improvement.
Risk Management Proactively identify risks associated with SAP/ERP initiatives and develop mitigation plans.
Manage escalations, resolving issues promptly to minimize impact on project timelines and outcomes.
Key Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
Experience: 10+ years in technology delivery, with at least 5 years in SAP/ERP project management and delivery roles.
Proven track record of leading large-scale SAP/ERP implementations or transformations.
Skills and Competencies Project & Program Management: Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), with PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certifications preferred.
Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of SAP/ERP architecture, integration, and best practices.
Change Management: Experience leading organizational change initiatives, especially in SAP/ERP environments.
Vendor & Partner Management: Skilled in managing external vendors and building strategic partnerships.
