This is a fulltime, permanent position of 37 hours per week, with a shift pattern of Monday to Friday (office hours and on call).Full UK Driving Licence essential.Post Holder works with Estates Team who are professionally responsible for meeting the organisations key objectives, for the delivery of Patient Care by the provision of Effective, Efficient, and Safe Operation & Maintenance of Estates Services, Systems and Budgetary Resource, Compliance with Statutory Requirements & Mandatory NHS Healthcare Standards & Guidelines, for the day-to-day operational activities of the Estates Department.Participate in the use of FM First PPM & Reactive Maintenance System to ensure delivery of Statutory Compliance and Effective Repairs, specifically with regard to Water Systems and Compliance with SHTM 04-01 Operational Management and dealing with NHS GG&C Framework Contractor to Manage Electronic Recording and Non-Conformance Actions relating to the Water System.The post holder will be a minimum of HNC qualified in a technical subject or working towards that qualification.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay.
This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff.
This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours.
However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
