Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant to join our team.
The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support pupils in their learning, help create a positive classroom environment, and contribute to the overall development of the children.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a vibrant school community.
Key Responsibilities: Assist teachers in delivering lessons and supporting pupils' learning in both English and Welsh Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning concepts Help manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe, inclusive environment Support pupils with additional learning needs Contribute to the planning and preparation of learning activities Foster a love of the Welsh language and culture among pupils Requirements: Fluent in Welsh (both spoken and written) Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school setting A passion for education and supporting children's learning Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team An understanding of the curriculum and teaching methods used in Welsh medium schools is desirable What you'll need to be successful as a Teaching Assistant Registration as a School Learning Support Worker with the EWC (the Education Workforce Council) - we can help you with this References covering the last two years (no gaps) Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one The right to work in the UK Interested?
