Empowering Learning is a leading educational organization committed to providing exceptional support and guidance to students. We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational development of students, ensuring they receive the assistance they need to thrive academically and emotionally.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, assisting them with their learning activities and assignments.
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students.
- Assist the teacher in implementing lesson plans and delivering engaging activities.
- Support students with special educational needs, ensuring their specific requirements are met.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to assess students' progress and provide feedback.
- Monitor and manage student behavior, promoting a respectful and productive classroom environment.
- Support students in developing their social and emotional skills.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as preparing materials and maintaining records.

**Requirements**:

- Fluent in Welsh (written and spoken) is essential for this role.
- A relevant educational qualification or teaching assistant certification is desirable but not mandatory.
- Previous experience working as a teaching assistant or in a similar educational setting is advantageous.
- A compassionate and patient nature, with the ability to build positive relationships with students.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A genuine passion for education and supporting students' growth and development.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.

- Cardiff, CF10 2AS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
