Roles and Responsibilities:

- Provide language support and assistance to Welsh-speaking students in the classroom, ensuring they fully understand instructional materials and classroom activities.
- Facilitate communication between teachers and Welsh-speaking students, translating instructions, explanations, and questions as needed.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons, incorporating Welsh language and culture to promote bilingualism and cultural awareness among students.
- Support individual Welsh-speaking students or small groups with their academic tasks, providing guidance and clarification to enhance their learning outcomes.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where Welsh-speaking students feel valued, respected, and supported in their educational journey.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to identify and address the specific needs and challenges of Welsh-speaking students, promoting their academic and social success.
- Act as a cultural liaison between the school, students, and their families, supporting effective communication and engagement within the Welsh-speaking community.

**Requirements**:

- Fluent proficiency in both written and spoken Welsh is essential.
- Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students' learning and development.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- A valid DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
