Job Title: Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Welsh speaking teaching assistant to join our team at a large secondary school in Cardiff. The successful candidate will have a strong background in supporting students with behavioural challenges and a passion for promoting positive behaviour and learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one support to students with behavioural challenges, helping them to engage with lessons and complete assignments.
  • Assist teachers and other behavioural staff in maintaining a positive and structured day for the children.
  • Support children with Autism, ADHD, and address behavioural difficulties, social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
  • Provide 1-to-1 support for pupils who need assistance in these areas.
Requirements:
  • Fluent Welsh speaker
  • Enhanced DBS (child only) and registration with the Education Workforce Council
  • Minimum of 5 GCSE A* - C
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
