Role Summary An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated and highly organised individual to join our Endoscopy team as a Rota Co-Ordinator.

More detail about the role You would be required to co-ordinate consultant and nurse endoscopist rotas to meet the requirements of the Endoscopy unit monitoring annual leave and sickness absence to ensure cover.
In this role you would be expected to fully coordinate the Endoscopy rota to meet the requirements of the unit which includes monitoring absences to ensure cover.
Attend 6-4-2 meetings, coordinating diary meetings and effectively maintaining accurate documentation across a range of systems.
You will be working very closely with the endoscopy booking team liaising and providing support to ensure that capacity is fully utilised.
Analysis of data to present at a variety of meetings will be required.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to provide a patient focused service is paramount, along with a flexible approach to work to meet the needs of the service.
Strengths essential to the role would include the ability to work independently utilising own skills and initiatives without the need for supervision in an organised and effective manner.
Knowledge and experience working within the medical sector, a familiarity with medical computer systems and experience working within a similar role desirable.
